The date isn't held until the agreement is signed

Photographers use SecureSign Portal to send session agreements, usage and licensing terms, deposit conditions and cancellation policies as a branded link that expires on a date you choose. You can see when the client opened it, revoke the link if the booking changes, and keep a timestamped record of the whole exchange.

What you can actually do

Session agreement templates

Build the agreement once from editable sections and start every booking from it instead of retyping terms.

Links that expire

Pick 24 hours to 30 days. A date-hold offer that lapses stops being signable on its own.

Revoke a link

Plans changed or the client re-negotiated? Turn the link off before it expires.

See if it was opened

View counts and last-viewed timestamps tell you whether to follow up or wait.

Your studio's branding

Logo, colors and contract layout on the signing screen, so the paperwork matches the shoot.

Signed copies archived

Completed agreements collect in one library with a print-ready download.

How the workflow runs

  1. 1Save your session agreement as a reusable template.
  2. 2Add the client and generate the contract for the booking.
  3. 3Send a signing link with an expiry that matches the date-hold window.
  4. 4Watch for the view; send a reminder or revoke if the booking shifts.
  5. 5Client signs on their phone and both of you have a dated, downloadable copy.

Questions people ask

How do clients sign a photography contract?

You send a temporary link. The client opens it on a phone or laptop, reads the agreement in your branding, types or draws a signature, ticks the consent box and submits. No account and no app are required.

Can I stop a link working after the date is gone?

Yes. Choose an expiry between 24 hours and 30 days when you create the link, and revoke it manually at any point before that.

Will the contract look like my studio?

Yes. Your logo, colors and contract layout apply to both the workspace and the client-facing signing page.

Can I reuse the same agreement for every booking?

Yes. Save it as a template built from editable sections, then start each new booking from it. Publishing a new template version does not change bookings that were already created.
