Electronic Signature Disclosure
How electronic signing works, and what signers are agreeing to.
Electronic Signature Disclosure & Consent
Agreements may be reviewed, completed and signed electronically through this platform. By typing or drawing your signature and submitting it, you consent to signing and receiving documents electronically.
Applying an electronic signature may create a legally binding signature, depending on applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction.
Before you sign
Review the entire document before signing. Do not sign an agreement you do not understand or do not agree with. If you need a copy, save or download the document from the signing page after signing.
What is recorded
When a document is signed electronically, the platform records:
- The signer name provided
- The signature (typed or drawn) and its type
- The date and time of signing
- The document version signed
- Technical request metadata used for the audit trail
Limits of this disclosure
The platform facilitates electronic signing. It does not determine whether any specific contract is valid or enforceable. The business sending the agreement remains responsible for deciding whether electronic signatures are appropriate for that transaction and jurisdiction, and for any additional disclosures its industry requires.
Withdrawing consent
If you prefer not to sign electronically, contact the business that sent you the agreement and ask for an alternative signing method. Do not submit an electronic signature if you do not consent.
